My daughter came and had such an amazing time, came back with a new found confidence and coping skills

Such an amazing magical place! My son loved his respite holidays at Honeypot and even though he is now 13 and too old to attend he still talks about his stays at Honeypot House fondly and with smiles and happy memories. My his younger sister attends and she says it is “the best place ever”. She was recently lucky enough to come and stay for a break only a few days before Christmas and she says it was “amazing mummy”. My children have a very tricky life due to having an older sibling with complex special and medical needs which means they have had to make compromises to their own lives on an almost daily basis, having a safe place to go such as Honeypot where they can be themselves and absolutely everything is about them and what they want to do is something I couldn’t offer them myself. We can’t even have a relaxing family holiday so haven’t tried for many years. These breaks help them to make the happy childhood memories I feel they miss out on. I try my best to balance my whole family but it’s hard so THANK YOU so much for everything you have done and continue to do for my own and so many other children / young carers out there. To me childhood needs love and the ability and chances to make happy memories, you are helping me and my family to balance all of those things. I can’t thank you enough for taking such wonderful care of M & E and giving them those happy carefree memories they do dearly crave and deserve xx Claire xx

My daughter had the most amazing time away from a difficult situation. Just what she needed. She is so full of excitement when she talks about the place and the people. It is lovely seeing her happiness and listening to her stories of fun. A very special place 😍

Changed my children's life for the better. My youngest son was very introverted but the guys at the honeypot brought him out of his shell. He now goes on school trips and has more friends.

Fantastic place. Brand new children's charity facility for children who care for someone else, full time. They come to play for a few days holiday!
